Our company is a leading provider of innovative and sustainable animal nutrition solutions in the feeding industry. With 132 laboratories operating in 34 countries, we are working towards rolling out a global Laboratory Information Management System (Labvantage LIMS) to enable all our labs to collect data in a harmonized way. We are currently looking for a Business Application Specialist (BAS) to strengthen our Quality / LIMS team at Nutreco. Given the global reach of our labs, this role involves travel so the applicant should be willing and interested in travelling up to 25% of their time.
About The Role:
Responsibilities:
You will translate the requirements of internal stakeholders into technical specifications, participating in development/testing and implementation of software solutions and integrations in collaboration with the LIMS vendor.
Provide support for the LIMS application, deploy changes and troubleshoot.
Define and monitor quality and performance of the application.
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
Knowledge of LIMS (Labvantage LIMS) and ERP (Infor M3) systems and experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server).
Knowledge and experience in relational databases, SQL, and coding (e.g., Java).
Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
Experience with 1QM (One Quality Management System)/ETQ Reliance, and ITIL processes is a plus.
Expectation from Role:
Maintain and manage the global LIMS solution.
You will provide ongoing support and end user training for our users.
Expand solutions to other business systems as needed.
