Overview
In this role you support Yokogawa’s European logistics organization by analyzing operational challenges and refining procedures. You map current and future processes, assess gaps, and drive change initiatives to strengthen regional logistics performance. You will build business cases, coordinate improvement projects, and align cross-country teams with internal experts. This is an opportunity to shape how Europe’s logistics operate and to deliver measurable impact for customers and the business.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Analyze operational challenges in the logistics organization and identify root causes
- Develop and refine logistics procedures aligned with strategy, compliance, and policies
- Drive change initiatives to strengthen logistics performance across the region
- Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes, assess gaps, and recommend practical solutions
- Build the business case for improvements including cost-benefit and ROI
- Plan and coordinate improvement projects with departments, suppliers and stakeholders: timelines, milestones, resources and progress reporting
- Identify risks to projects and implement mitigations
- Facilitate requirements sessions and stakeholder discussions
- Example initiative: harmonizing logistics practices across Europe through cross-country collaboration
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, including at least 2 years in a project management or process improvement role
- Experience coordinating project teams or workstreams
- Structured, analytical approach with data-backed root-cause analysis
- Process modelling and mapping skills
- Clear communication and ability to facilitate discussions with stakeholders at different levels
- Organized and able to plan and deliver under deadlines
