As Buyer Transportation at Renewi, you will own a strategic transport category with substantial spend and influence. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Develop and execute category strategies within Transportation
- Lead sourcing projects and contract negotiations
- Manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvements
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, value creation and risk reduction
- Assess internal vs external transport decisions based on total cost of ownership and service levels
- Support transition toward sustainable and innovative transport solutions
- Collaborate with operational stakeholders to translate business needs into procurement initiatives
- Monitor market developments, supplier trends and innovation opportunities
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards and contracts
- Support cross-functional and continuous improvement initiatives
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Several years of procurement experience within transportation, logistics, fleet
- Experience with strategic sourcing, contract negotiations and supplier management
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach
- Experience working in complex stakeholder environments with influence without authority
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Understanding transport operations and capacity planning (advantage)
- Experience with transport management and/or procurement systems (e.g., Transporeon or similar)
- Fluency in Dutch and English; French is a plus
