In this newly created role, you will help shape and further develop the operating model by establishing clear processes, governance, roles, and responsibilities across the region. You will proactively engage with customers, internal stakeholders, and external service providers to accelerate EDI adoption across Europe while creating structure and consistency across the EDI landscape. /p pThe goal of this strategic initiative is to bring more customers onboard with EDI ordering and digital transaction processing. By increasing the use of standardized EDI solutions, we aim to simplify onboarding, lower transaction costs, reduce manual processing, and improve operational efficiency throughout the Order-to-Cash process. You will play a key role in translating this vision into a scalable and sustainable operating model that supports future growth. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop, maintain, and continuously improve the European EDI operating model, including governance, processes, stakeholder alignment, and ways of working that support scalable adoption across the region /li liLead the European EDI onboarding and adoption program, engaging proactively with customers to increase the use of EDI transactions across orders, invoices, confirmations, and shipping notifications /li liDevelop and maintain a structured onboarding pipeline, including prioritization, customer communication, stakeholder coordination, and progress tracking /li liDrive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing manual processing, onboarding cycle times, transaction costs, and exception handling across the Order-to-Cash process /li liCoordinate internal and external stakeholders, including Customer Service, IT, Finance, Supply Chain, customers, and EDI service providers, to ensure successful implementation and alignment /li liMonitor EDI performance, analyze KPIs, and provide management with insights and recommendations to improve adoption, operational efficiency, and customer experience /li /ul h3What you bring /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred /li li3-5 years of relevant experience in Order-to-Cash, EDI, e-invoicing, digital transaction management, or process transformation /li liExperience coordinating cross-functional projects and collaborating with multiple stakeholders in an international environment /li liStrong understanding of EDI processes, ERP systems, and business process optimization; SAP experience is preferred /li liExcellent communication, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liAn international working environment, fueled by respect and a healthy work-life balance tailored to the business and team member’s needs /li li27 paid vacation days (based on fulltime contract) with option to purchase five additional days /li liThis is mainly an on-site role with hybrid options /li liCommuting allowance of €0,23/km or full coverage of public transportation costs /li liA wide variety of internal trainings and development possibilities and a tuition program for external trainings /li liThe opportunity to pro-actively work on your vitality and fitness /li liState-of-the-art facilities, including green areas, in-house restaurant and gym /li liAdditional benefits, such as: ul liAttractive pension scheme (your contribution at 4%, ours at 12%) /li li€50 net monthly health insurance contribution /li liTwo (paid) days per year dedicated to volunteering activities /li liSeveral fun company events and meaningful initiatives organized throughout the year /li /ul /li /ul pAt Applied Medical, we are committed to make a meaningful, positive difference, each and every day.
