The Global Automation Lead will collaborate with our global team to advance our Dosing Equipment into the future, with Industry 4.0 being just the beginning. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing new digital processes and providing strategic advice. If you have innovative ideas about integration, communication protocols, paperless workflows, big data, and automation, this role is perfect for you!

Responsibilities:
Connect our equipment through the Cloud and various communication protocols.
Maintain production installations and propose and execute improvement projects.
Keep all software databases current and compliant with the latest standards.
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in industrial automation, with at least 2 years in a strategic leadership role.
Strong affinity with digital engineering, Industry 4.0, communication protocols, and IoT.
Experience with automation systems such as SCADA and Siemens TIA Portal, and leveraging Cloud integrations (we use Azure) in an embedded environment.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Expectation from Role:
Serve as a strategic partner to the business, building on existing initiatives and creating new ones in automation within our dosing equipment department.
Develop the automation platform and scale it up to the customer level.
Act as the subject matter expert for all technical aspects related to our systems, collaborating closely with the IT Department to execute and support the department’s technological advancements.
