Nobian, a leading European producer of salt and essential chemicals, is seeking an experienced Interim FP&A Manager to strengthen its Finance organization during a period of transformation. You will make immediate impact by owning the planning & control cycle, elevating reporting quality, and driving performance insights for senior leadership.

Role overview
As Interim FP&A Manager, you are the key link between Controlling and Accounting, ensuring strong financial planning, analysis and reporting across Nobian. You will manage the full planning cycle, deliver clear insights for the CFO and senior management, and support ongoing improvements in processes, systems and digitalization.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of the end-to-end planning & control cycle (forecasting, budgeting, month-end closing and reporting);
- Coordinate and consolidate financial results (P&L, Capex and Operating Working Capital);
- Deliver high-quality management, board and financial reporting;
- Provide insightful variance analysis and translate outcomes into actionable business recommendations;
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and senior stakeholders;
- Handle ad-hoc analyses for business and shareholder;
- Drive improvements in reporting processes, tools and systems (automation & digitalization);
- Strengthen KPI frameworks and performance management;
- Improve cash flow forecasting and working capital management;
- Develop value chain financial insights to support profitability and decision-making;
- Lead or support finance-related projects and due diligence activities;
- Act as a senior sparring partner within Finance.
Required experience
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or similar;
- Extensive experience in FP&A, preferably in complex and/or matrix organizations;
- Proven track record in financial planning, forecasting and budgeting;
- Solid accounting understanding; basic IFRS knowledge
- Systems expertise: SAP, SAP BW, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint (Lucanet is a plus);
- Strong analytical and communication skills; able to challenge senior stakeholders;
- Hands-on, impact-driven, quick to adapt;
- Fluent in English and Dutch.

We value experience with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to enhance analysis, reporting efficiency and decision-making. A proactive approach to digitalization is highly appreciated.
