Overview
In this Oncology MSL role, you connect GSK with the healthcare community to advance clinical practice and patient outcomes within gynecology and oncology indications. You will serve as a medical resource, present data in non-promotional exchanges, and shape medical strategy through scientific dialogue with HCPs and payers. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to align medical plans with patient needs and ensure compliant, impactful scientific exchange. This is a field-based, territory-driven opportunity with a clear impact on oncology care and pipelines.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Identify and engage HCPs and other healthcare professionals to address educational needs and gather insights for medical plans
- Discuss emerging data, trials, unmet medical needs, patient barriers to access, and disease/product information with HCPs
- Contribute to medical strategy by capturing and communicating insights across the product lifecycle
- Plan and manage scientific engagements within the territory aligned with medical strategy
- Support clinical trials by coordinating medical activities with Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations
- Collaborate with internal teams (Medical Affairs, marketing, commercial, sales) to uphold a customer-centric approach and SOPs
- Address unique medical needs and attributes of accounts (educational needs, care pathways)
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of therapeutic areas and GSK medicines to serve as a medical resource
- Ensure compliance with GSK policies and transparency standards; complete administrative and documentation tasks in a timely manner
- Participate in Field Medical and cross-enterprise projects supporting medical strategies and tactics
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Doctorate level with medical/clinical focus (MD/PhD) or MS with relevant oncology experience
- Oncology experience in pharma or medical liaison roles
- 2+ years in pharmacology/pharmacotherapy in humans with oncology experience
- Experience engaging in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with medical professionals and decision makers
- Experience delivering medical presentations
- Experience identifying opportunities for medical engagement and establishing scientific goals
- Experience building relationships with external HCPs, KOLs, experts and internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage a multi-state territory with 60-75% travel
