Product Solution Specialist – BeNeLux (all genders)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solar PV solutions.
- Conduct site assessments (remote or on-site) and feasibility studies.
- Prepare technical proposals, system designs, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Deliver product presentations and technical demonstrations to clients.
- Assist in tender preparation and respond to RFPs/RFQs.
2. Mid-Sales Engagement
- Act as the technical point of contact during the sales process.
- Customize solutions based on evolving client feedback and site-specific constraints.
- Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to validate system configurations.
- Support contract negotiations with technical inputs and risk assessments.
- Ensure smooth handover to project execution teams.
- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and testing phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues.
- Conduct training sessions for clients on system operation and maintenance.
- Gather feedback for continuous product and service improvement.
4. Solution Sales & Product Strategy
- Stay updated on the latest solar PV technologies, inverters, batteries, and monitoring systems.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling complementary products (e.g., energy storage, EV chargers).
- Collaborate with product development teams to refine offerings based on market trends and customer feedback.
- Support marketing with technical content for brochures, datasheets, and case studies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in solar PV system design, sales engineering, or technical support.
- Proficiency in PV design software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of grid-tied and off-grid systems, inverters, and battery storage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, other European languages are preferred.
- Willing to travel frequently (≥30%).
