Sales / Brand Activator – Become the Face of Rum

We’re looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial Sales & Brand Activator to lead the charge in The Netherlands—someone who lives and breathes nightlife culture, thrives in the energy of the scene, and builds business with style and swagger.

This isn’t your standard sales job. This is your stage.

You’ll be the driving force behind building the brand across high-energy bars, nightclubs, and trendy hospitality venues, as well as retail independents. You’ll be known in the streets as Mr & Miss Rum—the go-to personality, the connection point between our premium portfolio and the people who influence what’s poured and what’s sold.

With a clear focus on volume, visibility, activations, tastings, and new business, you’ll be a creative thinker, strategic executor, and trusted partner to importers, venue owners, and retailers alike. If you’re looking for a brand you can own—and a reputation you can build—this is it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be Mr or Miss Rum. Build a name for yourself (and the brand) in the nightlife and retail scenes. Be visible, active, and known.
  • Drive New Business. Open doors. Build accounts. Lock in distribution in high-energy on-premise venues and premium off-premise independents.
  • Own the Scene. Activate across clubs, bars, festivals, tastings, and pop-ups. Lead product demos and represent the brand with charisma.
  • Execute with Excellence. Deliver annual sales plans, volume goals, pricing strategy, and program execution in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Build Relationships. Engage deeply with importers, reps, retailers, buyers, and venue managers. You’re not selling to them—you’re partnering with them.
  • Create Experiences. Bring the brand to life through tastings, in-store activations, and nightlife events that get people talking (and sipping).
  • Stay Sharp. Monitor distribution, pricing, POS usage, inventory health, and in-market execution standards.
  • Report Smart. Keep things professional with clean reporting, insights, and planning support using tools like Excel and PowerPoint.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of proven sales or brand activation experience in beverage alcohol or nightlife/hospitality.
  • Big personality. Charisma. You belong in the room—whether it’s a boardroom or back bar.
  • High social EQ, natural connector, strong presenter, and persuasive communicator.
  • Self-starter with the hunger to hustle, hit the road, and own your market.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-paced, agile business.
  • Strong planning, time management, and budget handling skills.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent Dutch and English preferred. A valid driver’s license is essential.
