As a Senior IT Service Desk Analyst at Applied Medical Europe, you will play a key role in ensuring the continuity, quality, and improvement of our IT support services and processes.

With 1100 team members working for Applied Medical Europe, you will be part of a dynamic and fast-growing environment where your work truly makes a difference.

Although this position mainly supports our European time zones, we strive to build global solutions and collaborate closely with our international colleagues, ensuring consistency and innovation across all global regions.

You will act as a senior point of contact for IT-related issues and provide process and technical guidance to colleagues within the Service Desk team.

You will help build a global service desk with a focus on efficiency, customer satisfaction, quality, and process improvement. In addition to advanced troubleshooting, you will take ownership, documentation, and contributions to IT projects.

In this position, you will report to the Team Leader IT Service Desk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues, monitor recurring problems to identify root causes, ensure policy compliance, and provide technical guidance to Service Desk team members
  • Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation and work instructions
  • Deliver timely, accurate support to internal customers, prioritizing issues effectively and maintaining a strong customer focused mindset
  • Identify and implement improvements to Service Desk processes, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and service quality
  • Actively support IT projects by owning deliverables, providing technical insights, and contributing to project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Quality and Environmental Management Systems, collaborate positively with colleagues, take ownership of issues with a proactive, analytical approach, and pursue continuous professional development while supporting others’ growth

What you bring

  • MBO IT degree plus MCP, CompTIA A+, or equivalent certifications
  • At least 4 years in a similar IT support role, ideally within an international environment
  • Excellent English: additional European languages (Spanish, German, French) are a plus
  • Solid understanding of ITIL, Microsoft and Apple ecosystems, mobile device support (iOS/Android), and IT ticketing tools such as ServiceNow
  • Experience writing or improving work instructions/knowledge base articles and strong analytical/troubleshooting skills
