To strenghten our OTS team, we are currently looking forward to a “Senior Project Buyer” to support a project for a client in the chemic al sector in the region of Antwerpen.
Responsibilities
Job Description
- You are part of the Oxide procurement team and support the daily operational activities.
- You are responsible for purchasing services and technical goods/materials required for daily maintenance and ongoing projects.
- You manage the full procurement process for assigned dossiers: needs analysis, requesting quotations, evaluation, price comparisons, negotiations, and administrative follow-up.
- You ensure proper contractual settlement and accurate processing in SAP.
- You monitor compliance with SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) guidelines, internal procedures, and agreed service levels.
- You maintain daily contact with suppliers and internal customers and handle any operational issues or deviations.
- You support the team by responding promptly and accurately to urgent purchasing requests and changing priorities.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Preferably, you have an engineering or economics/business-related education.
- You have relevant experience in an operational procurement environment.
- You possess a basic understanding of industrial installations and services.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
- You work efficiently with SAP and MS Office.
- You have sufficient financial and contractual knowledge to handle procurement dossiers correctly.
