Within the Global Technology Center in Hoogeveen, multidisciplinary teams work on innovative solutions, including the development of internal software tools such as FokkerWind and the implementation of automated production techniques. These activities contribute to the further digitization and optimization of engineering and production processes within GKN Aerospace. The Hoogeveen facility plays a crucial role in providing high quality technologies and products that meet the stringent requirements of the aerospace and defense sector. As Senior Systems Engineer responsible for analyzing, specifying and validating technical requirements and solutions at system, component and software/hardware level. Within a dedicated project team, technical solutions are designed, tested and optimized in line with customer and airworthiness requirements. Develop validation plans and demonstrate compliance through analysis, simulation and/or testing Develop verification methods and test protocols, including interpretation of test data Guide transition from development hardware to series production, including robustness testing and certification Collaborate with engineers, domain experts and international partners A technically savvy engineer with experience in system development within a complex, multidisciplinary environment. Familiar with tools such as DOORS or SysML, and motivated to help build the future of unmanned aviation.
